These little carpet hippos grow up so darn fast you can't keep up!
With the third week almost over, everyone is a healthy 5 pound plus and finally opened their eyes fully on May 24. Their pudginess and wrinkles are to die for and we are pretty sure that Rob has some serious puppy love for little Larry. Things are getting busy with summer around the corner and everyone growing happy and healthy. What is really in store for us is the little pups boogieing around and getting up to no bully good. That's okay though because that's half the fun!

More importantly, third week means de-worming starts. Because worms are so common in puppies, vets recommend de-worming them for the first time when they're 2 to 3 weeks old. Worms can pass from mother to puppy before birth or soon after, through their milk. It will take more than one dose. The first round kills the worms that are there at the time. The second kills those that hatch a few weeks later. We generally like doing four rounds in total which we schedule for every second week. If you ever seen a puppy overly bloated, the general culprit most likely are worms. Our whole furry household gets a shot of de-wormer due to worms being so contagious and because no one likes worms.
There is some real puppy love going on with that little ball of cuteness.
